Dr. Suzanne Holmes

Dr. Holmes graduated from James B. Hunt High School in Wilson. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, after which, she participated in a student work exchange program at Cambridge University in England. She then attended law school before deciding to pursue a career in dentistry.

She was a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society and graduated from the UNC School of Dentistry in 1997. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society. She has been a certified Invisalign provider since 2003.

She is married and has two children. She relishes spending time with family and friends, and enjoys traveling, reading, and tennis.

Dr. Marilee Williford
Dr Williford is a native of Wilson. She grew up attending Wilson County schools and graduated from James B. Hunt High School in 1989. She attended UNC-Chapel Hill for seven years receiving her BS in Dentistry as well as her Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees in 1993 and 1996, respectively.

Dr Williford and her husband,Tim Williford, married in October 2013. Together they have five children; Jackson, Zaddock and Thorne Williford and Claire and Ian Dixon. They enjoy traveling, their kids' activities, visiting the NC coast and mountains as well as dental missions in Belize. Dr Williford is a member of the American Dental Association and NC Dental Society. She has served with the NC Baptist Dental Van and participated in dental missions in Belize through Kidz Konnect 4 Jesus. She is also a certified Invisalign provider for over 12 years. Dr Williford has practiced dentistry in her hometown for 20 years as of 2016 and enjoys all that Wilson has to offer.

Dr. Kate Putney
Dr. Kate Gibbons Putney grew up in Wilson, NC and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Chemistry minor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following her undergraduate education she continued at UNC-Chapel Hill and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Kate has always had dentistry as a part of her life. Her father, Dr. Miller Gibbons, practiced orthodontics in Wilson for 40 years and Kate considers him her greatest mentor.

Dr. Kate enjoys working with children of all ages (and big kids at heart!) While in dental school, she was certified in the Baby Oral Health Program (bOHP) and received training to see children beginning at age one. For her adult patients, she particularly enjoys Invisalign and cosmetic procedures, but prioritizes her patients’ oral health above all. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the North Carolina 5th District Dental Society. Dr. Kate understands dentistry is an evolving field and, therefore, stays up to date through study clubs and continuing education each year.

When not in the office Dr. Kate loves pulling on her Tar Heels with her family, traveling (especially to the NC coast), running, and enjoying spending time with her husband, Witt, their children, William and Virginia, and their two rescue dogs, Oliver and Penny. Dr. Kate feels blessed to practice dentistry in her hometown and hopes to make a positive impact on her patients and community.
